Since joining Levy, Levy & Levy, Ariel Strauss has represented lenders and borrowers in 221(d)(4), 223(f), 223(a)(7), FHA mortgage modification, tax-credit, Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac TAH closings and property owners in sale transactions, Section 8 renewals, use agreement amendments and HUD program compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Ariel served as assistant general counsel to several cities and special districts in the areas of municipal law, real estate, zoning, public finance and public contracting. Ariel obtained a J.D. and M.A. in urban planning from UCLA in 2011 and is admitted to the California bar. Ariel has also clerked for Justice Uzi Vogelman of the Israeli Supreme Court and externed for Judge Kim M. Wardlaw of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
